Frequently Asked Questions

What are the photo tiles made of? Our photo tiles are hand made using a low fire polymer clay. Polymer clay produces tiles that are lightweight, durable, and slightly flexible.

Can I mail you my order and or photo? Yes. For our street address please email us at dana@drscreations.com.

Are the tiles heavy? One of the benefits to using polymer clay for our tiles is that they are fairly light. This is especially nice for our bracelets and necklaces that feature more than one tile.

Do you automatially transfer color photos to black and white?No I only change to black and white on request. 

For transfer of Color to black and white and color their is an additional $5.00 fee per picture.

How do I upload my photo? All you will need to do is email me your photos to dana@drscreations.com. 

Will you crop my photo for me? Yes. Just give us an idea of what you would like and we will crop your photo for you and email you a proof.

If you do not indicate cropping we will leave as it is or crop slightly.

Are photo tiles waterproof? We consider them very water resistant. Getting caught in the rain is not going to hurt them at all.

We have customers who have told us that they shower with them on, though we do not officially recommend this. 

My husband has washed one of my earrings and it came out of the the washer and was just fine.

How long will my order take? Regular orders take 2 to 3 weeks with delivery.

Is there any way to get my order more quickly? Yes. You may choose our rush order option for an additional $10 per piece.

Rush orders are completed within 5 business days and are shipped via USPS Priority Mail which generally takes 1-2 days.

Do you wholesale? Yes. We currently wholesale to professional photographers only.
